Iodine Test Strips Dental Unit Waterline Management

For all iodinated dental unit waterline maintenance products, including the DentaPure™ cartridge
and Hu-Friedy Waterline Filter. These tests strips should only be used to determine the level of
iodine present in Dental Unit Waterlines, and should not be used to measure the presence of
Colony Forming Units (CFU’s). It is recommended to check the iodine level at 11 months, or as
you approach 240L of water to ensure that the iodine output has not fallen below 0.5 ppm—
particularly if you have a very busy practice.

Hu-Friedy Waterline Filter Shock Accessory Kit

The Hu-Friedy Waterline Filter Shock Accessory Kit allows for easy administration of shock
treatment through the water bottle when the filter is temporarily removed, or awaiting annual
replacement. This kit is designed for use with the Hu-Friedy Waterline Filter.
